Tiger International resources Inc (TGR.V) has commenced a drill program on the Springfield and Amity properties located in South Australia.

Tiger has located numerous kimberlitic anomalies in recent months, following the drilling program conducted earlier in the year, and the follow up surface and undercover sampling conducted by staff geologists.

Laboratory analysis has stated that three locations on the Springfield property have yielded samples which are 'on site' for kimberlite, with indicator mineral chemistry showing that as many as ten kimberlites are present on the exploration area.

Additionally, exploration has indicated an exposed kimberlite at Eurelia, within Tiger's property, which has been sampled by management. This kimberlite can be seen at surface, and will be examined in detail in 1999.

The present drill program is a combination of shallow RAB drilling and deeper aircore drilling, to a planned depth of as much as 100 meters. 150 holes and trenches are planned, and drilling will be completed prior to the end of January. Samples will be sent to Independent Diamond Laboratories in Perth, and results are expected to be analyzed by March. The purpose of the drill program is to verify the existence of diamondiferous kimberlites which have been indicated by the ongoing exploration program conducted through 1998.
